Where did I leave that pile of acorns after I saw that car on fire?
Where did I leave that pile of acorns after I saw that car on fire?
It was a long and lonely winter's day
and the sun went down but the light still stayed
I must've smelled it from a mile away
and the fear set in when it hit my brain
And when I scrambled through the door I was relieved and
she told me was hungry, asking where did I leave that pile?
Now in the springtime, everything's regrown
and the ground has thawed and I'm on my own
Although the flames have long been overthrown
my nose still perks up when the north wind blows
And now I'm sifting through the sand to find the answers
Piece it all together so that maybe we can reconcile
Pile of acorns
Car on fire
Pile of acorns
Car on fire
Thomas of Carol Cleveland Sings graciously allowed me to use the first verse from his song "Blink At Surprise" in the song "Target." Fine frenetic bedroom pop, the nicest Geoff you'll ever meet. OK Glass
